Yesterday, we learned a lot of words about the spring in Danish class, flowers, animals, garden... We also had discussions that spring was coming and "solen skinne"...

Then, the weather suddenly changed and started to rain. After a while, the raining became snowing. Wow, very "good" cooperation with our topic and the weather brought us back to winter again…

Today I went to the "Bygningen Kunsten". It's a modern museum in Aalborg with unique design. Marc Quinn's art work on exhibition currently and I also got to see some other permanent paintings and sculptures there. Very enjoying time there. Share some of pics with you in album.

This time, we had no white Xmas, no white New Year in Aalborg. A little bit disappointed for a while. However, the snow came in the Spring Festival (new year according to lunar calender). Exciting！ And we got a heavy snow yesterday, the city suddenly became a white world, with the fresh air in the morning I left a lot of footprint in front my dorm on the way to the bus station--that's the path I took...

Go to a Danish family and experience a  traditional Dan Xmas eve is a good choice to learn more about Denmark. The well-decorated home and host's hospitality will make you feel soooo warm if you are a foreigner here and getting homesick because of the holidays.

While the train moved closely to Denmark gradually, lovely small houses with different colors appeared outside the window. It's the time for Christmas, the decorated houses and gardens look very beautiful and warm...

Meanwhile, the exam is coming soon. Lots of work to do with the project report. The good thing is that part of the work for internship is on the same topic of my report. The experience is really helpful both on the academic level and on practical working level.

Today heard the big news about the election--Denmark is to be led by its first female prime minister! I'm not keen on politics, I really have no idea who the leader actually is, whether left or right...... Interesting thing is that I really experienced what I never did before. I mean when I walk out, the candidates' photo are on the most obvious place , like nearly every several poles you can see sb vs sb... So…

New semester starts, but my internship hasn't really started yet. So I've gotten several days for getting to know the new environment here before enter into work. Yesterday we experienced an amazing holiday in Denmark, it's called Karneval. Everyone in Aalborg, even people living other cities outside Aalborg get together in Aalborg on this special holiday, dancing, singing happily with different costumes. I feel sooo exciting to join the whole city party! We took a lot of pics on the parade.

Unfortunately, I lost my lovely camera later on that day, of course the pics we took on the parade have been lost too. But it was a really exciting…

March has gone, which is really a busy month for me. We had nearly full schedule in courses and projects every week and finally, two courses have gone to the end. It’s a special kind of exams for me, called 24hours-exam. It’s more flexible actually compared with my previous exams, ‘coz within 24hours, the actual working time depends on us students. It's been clear and full of sunshine for couple of weeks in Aalborg. I thought the summer is comming, 'coz the temperature has been above zero for a long time... However, it's snowing again now, ohhhhh, I realized that the winter haven't gone actully......

I’m now biking to university instead of taking bus everyday. This makes me feel soooo exciting—I’m in a low carbon life style in Aalborg now, haha~ I’m enjoying the fresh air in the morning and the special landform here—you need to bike up and go down frequently on the way to and from AAU.

Of course, biking up the hill is not easy at…
