My Study in Denmark

My third master's semester at RUC has started and despite the busy days ahead, I'm really looking forward to it.

This semester I'll be taking somewhat different classes from what I've been used to. For one I'll be taking a class on GIS - its been great fun so far (and challenging as well) and also a change to a somewhat more practical work compared to other classes.

I intend to continue working on a project in the lines of what I have always have had great interest in - namely dealing with the water challenges that we face today and will increasingly will be pressed to deal with due to the climate change. Therefore this semester's project will look at desalination - a process that I have always been rather skeptical to, however the reality is that many areas will probably have no other options of getting potable water, so me and my group will look at the current problems of desalination and options to improve the process in terms of energy consumption and environmental impact.

So if you have any thoughts on that, ill be happy to hear:)
